Application Scope
、Fresh fruits and vegetables: Spraying potassium sorbate preservative can extend the shelf life to 30 days (at 30℃), reduce the decay rate to 5%, maintain greenness, and prevent water loss and mildew.
、Meat products: Soaking or spraying ham, sausage, dried meat, etc. with potassium sorbate solution can double the shelf life compared to the control sample.
、Aquatic products: Adding to fish sausage, dried fish to prevent corruption and mildew, with a storage period of up to 7 weeks under acidic conditions.
、Soy sauce and pickles: Adding to soy sauce or pickles to prevent mildew, with freshness maintained for 70 days at high temperature.
、Pastries: Dissolve in water or milk and add to the dough, best used for preserving starch-based foods at acidic pH (<6).
、Beverages: Adding to fruit and vegetable juice, carbonated drinks, etc. significantly extends the shelf life.
